Sail from From Alimos
The bustling Athens International Airport makes it possible for travelers from any place of the world to quickly and easily reach Athens. Many of our guests plan to spend a few days before or after their sailing vacation in Greece seeing the magnificent city of Athens, which is not only home to spectacular museums and historical sites, but also to a thriving metropolitan nightlife scene.
Our fleet in Athens is stationed at Alimos Marina (Pier 3). This location is ideal for making a beeline for the islands in the Saronic Gulf or setting sail for the Western Cyclades because of its proximity to both groups of islands.
You can purchase your food supplies at a discounted price from our partner Balaskas.
Reaching Alimos Marina
Vastardis Yachting is offering free BOTH-way transfers from the airport to the marina in an effort to save you from all the trouble you may face trying to find us. You are kindly requested to inform us a week minimum prior to your arrival in Athens about your flight details in order for us to organise your transfer to the yacht from the airport for all your crew.
BUS X96
Alternatively, beside taxi or minivan you can use also the public bus, which has a one-way fare of just 6 euros per person. The trip to the marina is a reasonable amount of time and, more significantly, it is a direct one. The trip will take around an hour, and you will have the option to exit at either the "1st Kalamaki" or the "EDEM" station. Simply walk across the street from "1st Kalamaki" to reach the entrance of the marina. From "Edem," take a stroll back to the traffic lights, then cross the street in the direction of the Shell Gas Station to reach the entrance to the marina.
