Hippocrates, often regarded as the person who laid the groundwork for modern medicine, was born on the island of Kos. As a result of its position at a crossroad of civilizations spanning from the Neolithic period to the end of colonialism in the 20th century, the island of Kos preserves proudly impressive remnants of wonderful ancient monuments in addition to many Italian neo-colonial buildings, some of which continue to dominate central areas of the city with their distinctive and beautiful architectural style.
Our yacht base located on the island of Kos, makes it an ideal starting point to explore the Dodecanese Islands, either in the south visiting Rhodes, Tilos, Nissyros, Chalki and Symi or in the north visiting Patmos as well as the laid-back and undiscovered islands of Leros, Kalymnos and Leipsoi.
Kos may be reached quickly via flights from the majority of European countries or with a quick flight connecting in Athens that takes around half an hour.

The Kos Marina and the surrounding area, which is situated on the north-easternmost point of the island within Kos Town, provides a diverse selection of opportunities for viewing, shopping, and dining.
A taxi ride to the Marina from the Kos Airport takes less than half an hour because it is just 22 kilometers distant. There are also choices available involving bus service.
